| Welcome! This is our 27th Public Auction and it is a very large sale. We are thrilled to present several exceptional properties. The Robert J. Wynstra Gold Medal exhibit of Leeward Islands Village Mail is a superb assemblage of rare and wonderful postal history and cancellations with many unique items. The International Gold Medal Collection of Br. Commonwealth Postage Dues formed by David L. Herendeen is replete with interesting and rare items highlighted by the Barbados 1¢ inverted center, one of just two examples known. The marvelous collection of QEII Commonwealth errors formed by the late Robert F. Winter is comprehensive in scope and depth. It features a very strong GB section but will also be found sprinkled throughout the General Commonwealth section so look for your favorite countries! Thomas J. McMahon’s Bermuda is presented and fans of this country should find much of interest. The Prof. Charles L. Tipton Collection of Malta contains an array of specialized material and is certain to provide much of interest for collectors of this popular country. The Newfoundland section includes many varieties assembled according to the Walsh listing.
